Take a good card photo

A clear photo is read right the first time.

   Case off

   If your phone case covers the camera, take it off.

   Clean the lens

   Wipe it with a soft cloth. One smudge blurs every photo.

   Good light, no glare

   Bright, even light. Tilt the card away from lamps until the shine is gone.

   Flat and full

   Lay the card flat and fill the frame, all four corners showing.

5. 5

   Back, then front, then both

   Start with the back, then the front. If we still can’t tell, add both.
